About James, Barrie Photographer

“While I have had a variety of careers, I have always had a camera.”

After spending 23 years as a senior accountant or controller in the corporate world (and spending time as a Forestry Engineer, Baker and Pastry Chef), I started my own accounting and bookkeeping business. In addition to owning and operating My Numbers Guy – I graduated Digital Photography and Imaging Program at Georgian College and now offer professional photography services in and around Barrie.

My wife Ruthanne and I lived in Hillsdale for 25 years and in Barrie for the last 7 years. We are very proud of our two adult children, Lindsay and Robert who are making their way successfully into the world.
